Who to contact in the event of an "urgent repair".
Please ensure that you check the below what is considered an urgent repair, as the landlord is not obligated to pay for repairs arranged by yourself that are not deemed as 'urgent' according to legislation.

If you do not have any water, please first check with your neighbours as it could be that Sydney Water are doing work in your street, or the water may have been turned off in your building if someone is renovating.
If you do not have any power, pleae first check with your neighbours and Ausgrid as they may be an area outage.

For urgent building repairs, please check the noticeboard in your block – this should list the contact numbers for the Strata Managers' nominated tradespeople.

If in doubt what is considered an 'urgent' repair, please refer to the following.

A burst hot water service

An appliance, fitting or fixture that uses water or is used to supply water that is broken or not functioning properly, so that a substantial amount of water is wasted

A blocked or broken lavatory system

A serious roof leak

A gas leak

A dangerous electrical fault

Flooding or serious flood damage

Serious storm of fire damage

A failure or breakdown of the gas, electricity or water supply to the premises

A failure or breakdown of any essential service on the residential premises for hot water, cooking, heating, cooling or laundering

Any fault or damage that causes the premises to be unsafe or insecure
